Hey All,

We are currently using the premium version of Web2Cal and we are now preparing our application to support IE9 native for support the better visuals / performance.

But when we open a page with the web2cal calendar it is taking around 40 seconds to load, this also happens on Your own demo pages.

For example:
web2cal.com/ajaxeventscalendar/calendar-...97-premium-week-view

I tried upgrading jquery but that didn\'t help.

You can reproduce the problem on a Windows 7 machine with IE9 final.

Thanks in advanced for a solution.

Grz,
Stefan van Zanden

Some additional information, it doesn\'t help when you switch it back to IE8 / IE7 compatability / browser modes.

Not sure if this is a one off issue. Because, on our test system,

Vista + IE9 is almost as fast as Chrome
Win7 + IE9 again is almost as fast as Chrome..

Did you try more than one win7 machine?

That is weird, I have tried in on 2 different Virtual box instances of Windows 7 with the final version of IE9 (both upgraded with all the patches available).

I shall check it again on a machine running windows 7 natively when my employer is @ the work place next week (he is the only one running Windows 7 so :) ).

Btw.. the fix you provided for the Safari performance problems seem to be of some effect on IE9 performance asswel, it seems to be alot faster, only still around 6 seconds in initial loading.

Thanks for checking.
